Remediation links
Stories that have documented remediation carry the original links — the vendor advisory, the patch or hotfix page, and any official guidance.
What links mean here
Section titled “What links mean here”- A remediation link is the source’s recommendation, traced to the linked document — not our own advice.
- Guidance often carries prerequisites (backup first, apply in order, feature must be enabled). Those prerequisites travel with the link; they are part of the remediation, not optional reading.
- A “workaround” is not a fix; the story keeps the distinction.
When there is no remediation
Section titled “When there is no remediation”If no fix or mitigation is documented, the story says so. It never links to a generic hardening page as if it were a remedy.
